No dance. No lip sync. Just impact.

For Margaret’s Primabalerina music video, the idea was to move away from the literal interpretation of the song and build the film around frustration, powerlessness and the feeling of not being heard.

The visual language was deliberately raw and cinematic. A grainy image, long takes and slow motion replaced conventional performance, while an almost empty industrial space became the backdrop for Margaret dressed in a sculptural fashion look and armed with a baseball bat. The production followed the same stripped-back approach. Minimal set design, carefully selected props and breakaway safety glass created a controlled environment where destruction could become the central visual device. Cracked surfaces, shattered objects and fragments of glass gradually transformed the empty space as the film progressed.

With Margaret as the only person on screen, every production element had to support the performance rather than compete with it.

Behind the apparent simplicity was a tightly coordinated shoot covering crew, equipment, props, safety glass, scheduling and on-set production. The result was intentionally minimal: one artist, one empty space and a very controlled amount of destruction.
